Wed 17th February
Joy Onslow-Cole and Ethel Honeybun did us proud in their Daily Mail Foursomes match against Came Down ladies, both of whom had handicaps of 12. They pushed them hard, losing on the 20th hole, so well done to them both - a great effort.

Friday 19th February
The "Know Your Course" quiz night was a great success and enjoyed by lady-members of Bulbury Woods and several other golf clubs. It was enormous fun and those who participated discovered actually how much they knew (or didn't know!) about the course.

Wednesday 22nd September: Ladies Section Coffee Morning.

Coffee on arrival and 18 holes of golf. Tee times 8am - 1pm. Cheques, £11.50, to Bulbury Woods Golf Club Ladies Section marked for the attention of Joy Onslow-Cole, Ladies Captain.

 

The Ladies Captain's charity this year is Julia's House, Dorset's only Hospice dedicated to children with life-limiting conditions. At present they offer daytime care 6 days a week and the Pyjama Appeal is to raise funds in order to provide 24 hour care in a seriously ill child's last days and invaluable respite for their families.
